Bedroom Makeover Plan: Inspirational pics/vid and items!

Hey everyone! I was in a mood to do a room decor post because, this might sound really weird to you but we had a lot of sports today, cross country, cricket and volleyball. Again back to my room decor post thing, I really wanted a place where I can relax and feel good being in there, so I decided to make this post up to also inspire you to make your space how you love it!

I was on a hunt to find really insprational pictures for a basic idea for my room. Like everyone else, I love Paris Themed Decor but then, I really like modern, bright and colourful decor. Here are two example photos here:

I think these two pictures represent really well on my room decor type and personality. I'm girly, but also with a fun cheerful side. i wouldn't say I'm too girly, because I'm a huge fan of sports :-). 

The room theme I think should be paris themed. i did not decide it to be pink, black and white- that combination is extremely popular so I decided to go with multi coloured, paris decor and modern furniture. I think that sounds pretty good!

A website that I ABSOLUTELY LOVE is ElleandBlair.com. Elle ( she is allthatglitters21 from youtube ) is a major decor lover, and she has the exact same decor thinking, but her ideas for decor are a little bit more mature that I am. Elle and Blair are amazing at room decor, Blair's room decor is bright and cheerful while Elle's is more paris and romantic. If I could only somehow find a way to put those together..

Ok there are so much more, but these are some of the ones that I really really love.

Every room has a statement accesory, and one acccesory that I love are CANDLES.

Candles look so pretty, and they give a sweet scent to your entire room. I prefer the candles by Modern Light, I wish we had a Bath and Body Works here in NZ but we unfortunately, don't.

At Last! Back from trip and Hunger Games

I missed this blog! I know I haven't been posting in like, forever because I did go to Japan and Australia.

It was a great trip, although I did have to take some time after we came back before posting in this blog again, recovering from the sadness of leaving my relatives in Japan.

I wasn't only splurging myself on great things either there, I have been doing some fashion and beauty study. I loved the style in Harajuku, even adding some of their inspiration into my everyday wear. I have also been studying lot's of inexpensive makeup, finding quite a few that I really liked. Looks like reviews coming up!

I have only read the first book of the trilogy, but I am captured in the book, It's so good! I'm sure their last one in the trilogy is called Mockingjay, correct me if I'm wrong!

You know how they have teams, such as Team Peeta and Team Gale? Yeah, I'm 100% Team Peeta!! I think he is so cute, but really I feel sorry for him that, I think, like, Katniss didn't truly love him, it seemed like that Katniss is just in love with the act of loving Peeta? Sorry if it doesn't make sense, but yeah.

Another Bonus for Hunger Games fans!

China Glaze came out with a new set of HG Nail Polish. i'm super super excited I want them all!

I really like the colour Dress me Up. I think that colour will suit my skin tone, not making my skin to dark or light. 

Harvest moon is also a pretty colour, the name and the colour kinda fits in with Autumn, Don't you think?

I gotta go now, but I think I might do a series on about school, boys, and all that stuff. What do you think?

Hey everyone! My latest addiction? Fashionlista!

I actually haven't been on Fashiolista for very long..maybe about 2  weeks? I'm not sure.

Fashionlista is as addicting as Facebook! You create a profile and you can follow people and people can follow you basically by the way you like your style to be, the followers has a similar style to you! It's almost like Twitter,you know.

Seasoning your bags: The Guide

Hey everyone! No,no,no,no....you are not seasoning your bags with pepper are you? ( Fail )
Well duh of course not, Courtney! This post is all about choosing the right bags for each season, the bags I own are actually the ones that I take too school, if you are out of school, the bags are pretty self explanatory.

BAG 1 : THE SPRING TOTE

Personally, I love to use canvas bags for spring. The whole light weight look and simplicity of a canvas bag can finish every spring outfit besides high class dinners....

This bag is acceptable for school because it's not highly decorative. I love this chic canvas bag that my friend for me on birthday!

BAG 2 : THE SUMMER BAG

Considering this a rather large bag, it is a perfect summer bag to store bathing suits,lunch, anything you want to take to school or on a trip!! This bag is highly expandable, which is...awesome? 

Remember that whole colour blocking trend? It's still going ( amazing ), and this bag is a perfect example of a fashion accesory.

BAG 3 : THE AUTUMN BAG

I am in love with this bag! This bag is has a very Autumn tone, by looking at this bag it reminds me of Autumn.

Saying too much Autumn? Yup, I am.

I think this bag is great because i don't think guys would use this, but it has a very unisex combo of colours.

I have a feeling that in New Zealand, the fashion statement now is Unisex Clothing.

We have those jackets that high school sports teams wear, canvas shoes, half calf socks, low down shorts...it's all getting to it. This bag is sooo in.

BAG 4 : THE WINTER BAG

It's rather hard to find a winter bag, because the clothing choice for winter is usually pale clothing. I like to add a bit of dark colour to that.

This bag...isn't just black but with a touch of pale pink. The best thing about this bag? It's so big that you can store extra coats!

I hope this guide helped you find the right bag for each season. I got these bags quite inexpensively, you don't need to spend a ton of money on a seasonal accessory.

Another thing is, I am not a professional fashion person. These are my own personal ideas and thoughts

Random Rambles: Stop Kony,My Food Choices,Injections, Random

Hey everyone! I am soooooooooo sorry for not posting in like, forever!Well, besides the My Music Loves post, which I hope you guys enjoyed!!

I've just heard the really bad news about Kony, who performs illegal actions on children, well, I think it's illegal. I think that is one of the most horrifying things I've heard this year.
You can help too. MAKE KONY FAMOUS! No, I'm not on his side. Everyone is trying to make him well known to eventually bring him down. That sounds better...right?

I've Just had my Cervical Cancer Injection. Mine...reaaallllyyy hurt. My muscles were still tense from the netball trials the day before, so I think that's why. You know what? The lady gave me a bracelet and a cute bookmark. I'll post pictures of them later. Oh and the picture above..sorry...that's a really off putting one :\

My latest loves for food....Hundreds and Thousands Cookies! They tastes sooo good. They are pretty sweet though, but I really don't mind at all. But honestly, you need to try them if you haven't lately!

LUSH CAME OUT WITH THEIR NEW PRODUCTS! Yeah...you guys in America and the UK will probably enjoyed most of their new products already, but, these goodies just arrived in New Zealand! OMG I am super excited, hmm my shopping list.....

BYS Cosmetics Review

Hey everyone! It is about time that I have done a makeup post. I don't think I have yet posted anything on cosmetics and such. Anyway, today I wanted to post a review on this brand called BYS, i found this little stall like thing at Postie + and this kinda intrigued me. This testing eventually turned into this review; I'm going to share with you my thoughts about some of the products from their brand:

  

BYS Animal Instincts Lipgloss in Strawberry:

I thought this was a really good product. It has a really nice scent, kinda like a sour strawberry candy, but the best thing is, this has glitter! It has a perfect amount of glitter in each tube and it glides on smoothly onto your lips! The only bad thing is, the glitter is a little bit abrasive in a way. Maybe I'm applying is too roughly or it is abrasive.

BYS Liquid Foundation in Honey Beige:

I'm really disappointed in this product. It does not cover up, its basically like coloured water. The texture was a little bit runny and this did not do any help. I really don't have anything good to say about this product. I'm not too upset about the price though as it was only $6 something.

BYS Blush in Pink Velvet

This is probably my most FAVOURITE product to review. I actually don't own this yet, but the girl said I could try it out and it was probably the most amazing blush ever. It's very pigmented and it is easy to glide on. This blush could not get any better.

Random Rambles: My Japan and Aussie trip, What I love, Easter Socks and Injections

~EXCITEMENT~

Happy March everyone! I am soooooo excited! My upcoming Australia and Japan trip is coming up!!!!!!! I'm super super excited!! So I'm trying to save up for a camera, both for my Japan trip and for my blog. What's the cheapest priced camera you've bought? I really need to know to see how low the price can go.I promise to post pictures of my trip! This trip is kinda my birthday present/meet my family. Yes, I  have family in Japan! My birthday is actually going to be held in Japan, but hopefully before we go I get to go Ice Skating with my
friends!!!!

Nice socks ay. Yeah, I chose them to be from now on Easter socks! I love Easter, it always has something that is-so-freakin-amazing-and-yummy-you-have-to-get-it. I just stuck with these warm and exciting socks, they have rabbits on the side!! BTW, they are pink.

OHHH NOOOO, INJECTIONS! Apparently, I have to get injections for this cancer thing. I don't really want to say it because its a tad weird. The cancer that woman get happens.....down there :\
I have this weird thing but I'm like scared of the injections and then I REALLLLLYYY want to get them. I'm weird like that!!!

This amazing video by Sparklyblonde1 of YouTube really knows how to create Easter Baskets! I think her ideas relate a lot to my kind of thoughts which is what I love about her! This video is so useful to create Easter  Goodies!

Yeah this video by Allthatglitters21 really reminded me about Easter. I dunno but the thought of Gel nails makes me think of Easter? Anyway, I thought this was a super good video, I just love doing at home kinda spa thing. Get your Easter treat by giving yourself a spa night and of course....chocolate!!!

I know this was a really long post and i'm sorry I have not posted for a little while! Homework, tests and all that junk! I like to put that behind me and do a blog post, I think it's so fun blogging. So, I hope you enjoyed and Ill be blogging soon!

The BEST restaurant!!

Hey everyone! Two posts in a day.....you guys are lucky! The other post is a  Work It Series post if you want to check that out. Haha, a Work It post and now a Restaurant post. Typical.
The picture on the left is a picture of a restaurant in Japan called Oz. It's an Italian restaurant selling pizzas,spaghetti, and all kinds of good food.
I thought the look of the restaurant was so beautiful. When you entered the area, you can smell the burning smoke from the pizza ovens, the location ( which was a forest ) was so mystical. The whole look of the area was so......amazing?
Let's not forget the food, OMG the food is soooo good. I love Italian, it's one of my fave kinda food to eat. It's soo relaxing inside, I love how it's usually not too busy, there's usually about 1 or 2 people in there. It's pretty small, if you wanted to know.

Work It: Hoola Hooping and Pretzels

Hey everyone! Hoola Hooping may be fun, but did you know it is one of the best exercises too? Hoola hooping improves the muscles around your stomach and waist, also removing excess fat. I actually do Hoola hooping every single day, well, whenever I can fit a 2 minute non-stop hoola hooping challenge! The good thing is, you won't get tired and get sweaty, besides for aching in the below rib area but it will dissapear if you make Hoola Hooping your daily routine.

Did you know you can replace your Potato Chip diet with pretzels???? Baked and unsalted pretzels are a better choice of snack to be munching on. It won't do you any magic thing that makes you healthier, but it is a better choice. It's just basically flour and water.

Another thing is to remember is too EAT BREAKFAST! It might sound like common sense but breakfast improves your metabolism and stops you from eating too much junk food throughout the day and excessive overeating. Some dieters skip breakfast each day..as they think it will help them lose weight. Unfortunately, that's wrong.

I hope this post was helpful!  I am in no way dieting or trying to lose weight, I'm keeping myself fit and healthy for netball,karate and rugby. Yes! I do play those sports!

Inspiration Abomination: Candy!!!!!!!

Hey everyone! Bad school days!! I accidentally stomped on my friends foot ( i was wearing boots :'( ), i feel so sorry for him right now!!!!!!!! Teacher shouted at meeee......Not cool.

I decided that this new inspirational kinda posts will help you get through tough times or you need a little boost to your day.

How cute are these? OMG, I just thought of this, how cute will these be as a doorknob? EEP! Aaaaaaaadddddrrrrrrrrrrooooooaaaaaabbbbbblllllllleeeeeeee!!!

You know? These will make amazing room  decorations. It is so classy but so cheerful and colourful....it's hard not to end up refilling the jar!

Im pretty sure this is Japanese candy. These are one of my favourites not only because they look sooo pretty

but they taste sooo good it tastes like something that fell out of heaven!!

Yet again, this is adorable and looks sooo good as a room decoration. Remember, just fill it up once and a while!

    I actually don't wear fake lashes, my lashes are dark and naturally long, so yeah

    I stick with pencil liner just because I think it's more simple to apply.I usually don't wear liner, you can                        
    tell by now, I go with a natural look.
 
4. What do you feel is your best feature?
    My eyes. I love my eyes because it really doesn't need any makeup there at all.

     No. I have learnt to love and enhance what I have.

7. Whats the one piece of clothing you can't live without?
    My Charlotte sweaters. They are sooo comfy. I have 4 of them.

     I'm underage for drinking so I don't have a fave alcoholic drink. My favourite drink is Grape Fanta :o)

9. What country would you love to go on a holiday?
     USA. Loads of shopping!!

Mini Lush Haul!

Hey everyone! If you can't already tell, I'm a Lush Lover!
Today I went to Lush with my friend since it was her birthday and I was super excited to go since I don't go very often which is a shame. But anyway, I'm super excited to show you what I bought:

I bought the Magic Mushroom Bubble Bar,Dream Cream hand and body lotion and the Lush girl gave me these candies!

Magic Mushroom Bubble Bar $5.90

How cuh-ute is this?It has the scent of Strawberries and Cream! This Mushroom has Bergamot oil,Geranium Oil,Vanilla Absolute,Jasmine absolute and Tonka absolute. Did you know, the white parts of the bubble bar are vanilla scented and the red part is strawberry scented!

Dream Cream Body Lotion $37.90

This looks so yummy. I've used and wasted quite a bit already and in love with it. It's very moisturizing, it smells really good and it's calmed my skin down. I actually have mild eczema on my legs and arms, so this is a really good product. This has Oat Milk,Rose absolute, Cocoa Butter and a lot of other skin calming goodies.

It's definitley a moneys worth product.

The lady at the store gave me some valentines day candy! How awesome is that!! Oops, I already at them all up! Sorry, I had to put that in!

Random Rambles: Gingerbread House,Work it Series

To be honest...I actually have not used this yet. I just can't!

This is the Gingerbread House Bubble Bar from LUSH, and it's a bubble bar in the shape of a Gingerbread house ( well duh Courtney, of course it is!  ), and it smells like Gingerbread! It has a spicy,Gingerbread-y scent and a pinch of sweetness. This smells amazing!

You can get this at Christmas Time, its a limited edition product. Good for all dieters!

Since I'm going swimming tomorrow, I reminded my self to do a kind of a workout post. I thought it was gonna be a bit short so I decided that I include it in here. Here is my schedule for staying in shape and

healthy:

• Breakfast: Plain Non-Sweetened Yogurt with runny honey with cut up fruit.
• Lunch: Usually Sushi or a Vege Sandwich
• Dinner: i can't really choose cause I live with my parents but it's usually something good for you. 
• Exercise: Hoola Hooping, Walking,Netball or Touch Rugby.

Ill probably have to make a new post for the Work It Series. I gotta go now

Snowman Cupcakes!

Hey everyone!
Summer can be soooo overbearingly hot, i just wish Winter was right around the corner! I needed something sweet to eat, I have been eating helthily for the past month and 3 weeks.
We can have something,sometime so I decided to whip up some of these babies!! LOL
They are so adorable. Their coconut " snow" and the chocolate chip eyes and a gummy bear nose which I actually cut up. Should I tell you to make them? Yeah, I should.
All you will need to do is bake a few cupcakes,

preferably white normal cupcakes. Here are some of the ingredients and items you will need for the decorating"

• Shaved Coconut
• Butter
• Icing Sugar
• Chocolate Chips
• Any orange candy big enough to cut into slivers
• Bowl
• Spoon
• Butter Knife

You will need to whip up frosting with the butter and icing. Since I baked about 12 cupcakes I would reccomend using 3/4 of the butter bar.
Add in the icing and there should be more icing than butter.
Take your butter knife and spread the butter icing all over the top of the cupcakes.
Get a bowl and put the coconut shavings as the "snow". Dip your frosted cupcake into the coconut to make it look frosty. Add the choco chips for the eyes, cut up the candy for the nose.

Welcome & Mini Haul

Hey everyone! Welcome to the all new fashion, beauty and lifestyle blog! I'm Courtney, just like you, a fashion and beauty lover! I love shopping and anything girly, and i love sports! If you want to know a bit more about me,  there is an " about me" page!
I couldn't just say a hi, so I decided to add a mini haul to go along with the post. The first place I went to was Farmers and bought a 3 tier cupcake stand for my Lush Goodies:

How adorable does my Lush Goodies look in this thing? This was $40.00 but since it was the Waitangi Weekend ( I live in NZ ) they were having a half off sale so I got this for only $20.00. Yay!Oh and comment if you would like to see a Lush Collection Post!

I then went to Cotton On and the girl there was so nice! I only managed to buy one thing and it is these super cute shorts:

These shorts were on for sale for $10.00 and to me this was a must have! I went up to the counter and the really nice cashier lowered it down to $5.00! Sweet! Then...she gave me this super enormous bag ( it doesn't look enormous in the pic but it was HUGE:

I was basically knocking down everything that was in my sight! The cashier said this was the only bag available..so..yeah. I also ended up going to Factorie and I purchased Over The Knee Socks ( in the picture it looks really..really..weird)

OMG, this picture makes me laugh SO HARD!! But I love them a lot and wearing them tomorrow.I am so excited to create more blog posts! Have you got any comments or statements to make? Comment on this post! Ill talk to you guys later,
